Product Care Instructions
How to Care for Your Dahab Fabrics & Home Textiles
Your Dahab fabrics are crafted to last for years—but caring for them properly makes all the difference.
1. First Wash
—Rinse gently before first use to remove finishing residues.
– Use lukewarm water (30–40°C).
– Avoid heavy spinning or twisting.
2. Detergent Choice
– Choose mild, bleach-free detergent.
– Do not use chlorine or chemical whiteners.
3. Drying Tips
—Air-dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
– Avoid direct sunlight to protect fabric color. Lay flat or hang evenly to keep its natural shape.
4. Ironing
—Use medium temperature, pressing from the reverse side.
– For delicate fabrics (velvet, satin, silk), cover with a cotton cloth before ironing.
5. Storage
—Store in a cool, dry place.
– Avoid folding the same line repeatedly to prevent creasing.
– Allow fabrics to breathe; avoid sealed plastic for long-term storage.
💡 Dahab Tip: Good care protects not only your fabric but also the story woven into every thread.
